Heard of Porcelain Face Spa's Black Magic IPL treatment?
1. What is Black Magic?
It is an IPL treatment! (Intense Pulsed Light I think.)
2. What is IPL?
IPL uses a sophisticated technology of Xenon flash lamps and optical prisms or filters to instantly vaporize damaged cells deeper in the skin without harming surrounding tissue or the top skin layer!
Other facial treatments like the Diamond Peel or Crystal Peel targets the surface, whereas IPL penetrates deeper into the dermis to stimulate cell regeneration from within.
3. Conventional IPL gel vs Porcelain Face Spa's Plasma Magic Gel
Conventional IPL gel is a clear cooling gel that will be applied to the treatment area. It's purpose? To cool the epidermis(top layer of skin) and to prevent light from scattering. This gel conducts better light absorption to target the chromophores during the treatment.
Plasma Magic Gel however, is black in colour! This Black Magic Treatment uses a photo reborn/plasma magic gel formulated in Korea. Conventional IPL gel targets pigments, whereas the Black Magic treatment aims to rejuvanate the skin by tightening pores and reducing sebum production.
4. What's the risk behind this!!
Clinical trials have proven that the Black Magic Treatment is safe when kept within certain energy levels. Patients taking steroids or any anti-coagulant drugs, or experience photosensitive, sun tanned within 30 days should avoid doing the treatment.
