I was one of a few bloggers to head down to town to visit the Strip & Browhaus Mobile!

Bright purple and yellow van located right smack in front of Mandarin Gallery!

I was invited to try out the Thread & Tweeze by Browhaus, as well as Strip's Brazilian Wax!

Headed into the strip mobile, and there was a cosy rooom!

As it was my first time doing a wax, I was arranged to have the Strawberry wax!
(it actually smells a little like strawberry teehee)

They are very particular on hygiene, so do don't do any double dipping!

What I really loved about the waxing:

- Jasmine (My therapist from Strip) was really professional!
Had a good chat with her throughout and turns out she's been doing this for about 5 years.
All therapists have to go through school/training before they start work!

- Was really quick
Like omgwtfbbq how is this even done in 30 mins?!
(First timer so I knew nuts on how long etc hahaha)

- Not as painful as I thought it was
Honestly I thought I would scream or something. It was actually pretty bearable!
Girls, if you have low pain tolerance, no fear!
The therapists will slow down the pace. They consistently check with you if you are doing okay!
(And if you really really really cant take the pain, there's always IPL as an alternative!)

- Specially concocted wax
The strawberry wax was really gentle on my skin!
I have sensitive skin so some products causes itches, or causes my eczema to get worse (I only have eczema on my elbows haha) :/

What I really loved about the Thread & Tweeze:
(I'm really really sorry about the lack of pictures T-T Completely slipped my mind to take photos of the area where my eyebrows were done!!)

- Good shaping
My eyebrows are so pretty after!
They really frame my face nicely now :D

- Really natural look
Do I need to say more?

- Lucinda (My therapist from Browhaus) is really friendly and helpful!
She asked me about what shape and how thin/thick I usually go for. Then she suggested not going for overly thin brows because I look better with this and that (I forgot the terms omg muddle-headed much).

A photograph with them!
Ignore the bad hair day and my super chinese looking eyes ):
Didn't sleep enough as I was preparing for a presentation on the same day!

Here's a photo of how my brows usually are!
(No la I'm actually using this as an excuse to show you more of my face hehehehe)
You may not see a difference, but my brows are much more defined!
I used to draw pretty harsh lines on my brows haha but gone are the days!

Signing off for now,
Kiewc.
xoxo

This roadshow was to show how their tissues are being made~

Never knew how tissue/toilet paper was made yknow!

So interesting.

They had this quiz board there too!

Can you answer any of the questions?

Look at the crowd!

Hello everyone!

Here today to tell you about Ramen Play.

Went for food tasting there about a week ago, and boy, was I in for a food delight!

Here's a little information for you guys.

Ramen Play is a trendsetting ramen concept, the baby of Singapore's BreadTalk Group LTD, as well as Japanese giant Sanpou Co. Ltd! Sanpou is a distinguished name in Japan which is known for it's quality ramen for almost 50 years.

At Ramen Play, the stock is freshly made everyday with top grade ingredients, and choice cuts of specially-imported soft pork bones and pork sinew.
A secret recipe of spices, gently simmered for around 12 hours, results in a rich, thick and delicious base when used in all the ramen dishes.

Not only is there ramen, but you will also be spoilt fro choices w their side dishes.

Thanks to Nuffnang, I had a chance to go for the food tasting held by Ramen Play!

10 Student bloggers were invited to try out their student meal. :D

Firstly, we were served with some side dishes.

Note: these side dishes do not come with the student meal!

Yaki Gyoza!

$3.50 for 3 pcs,
$5.80 for 6 pcs.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of gyozas.
But surprisingly, the filling was nice and well cooked!
Perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness.

Cripsy Dango

$3.80 for 3 pcs.

It's a Chef's pick!
Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
Minced chicken balls that is fried till a golden, crispy brown.
Good mixture of sauces/garnishing.
Worth its price!

The student meal menu:

Just by flashing your student card, you are able to enjoy this deal!

The meal costs $8.80, and you have a choice between the Mustard Chicken Fried Rice or the Tonkatsu Ramen.
Both choices comes along with a soft drink!

I picked the Mustard Chicken Fried Rice~

There wasnt any noticeable mustard taste, so fret not!
Chicken was crispy and fresh.
Pretty huge serving!
Confirm can fill your tummy.

Terrence and his tonkatsu ramen!

However, this promotion is only available during weekdays, not including eve of and public holidays!

Had a fun time there with everyone.

Me and Angie!

Good service there, they were very polite.
Rachel (one of the managers if i remember correctly) made sure that all of us were happy with our meals!

If you need anymore details, head on down to Ramen Play's site.

Have a fun time with your meal today!
